Recipe – Chicken Salad


My sister asked me for this recipe, so you all get the benefit since I had to type it up anyway! It’s seriously one of my favorite recipes, and I hope you love it too! I believe the bacon and the mayo qualify this recipe for the not-so-healthy list, unfortunately. But it’s so so good!

Quick & Easy Chicken Salad


  • 4 cups cubed (1/2 inch) cooked chicken (about 1 3/4 pound)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup bacon, fried and chopped
  • 2 cups halved seedless red grapes
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. That’s it! You can eat it right away, but it’s better if you cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.

Serve on a lettuce leaf, croissants, dollar buns, or bread of your choice!

NOTE: Like many of my recipes, this recipe is VERY forgiving. Add more of the ingredients you like, add less of the things you don’t! Don’t like walnuts? Use almonds or cashews. I’ve used both and they are great! Too dry? Add more mayo! You really can’t go wrong!
